What does “The Power of 3” consist of?

Starting January 6, 2010, our entire church will be returning to a church-wide Bible reading program called “The Power of 3”. “The Power of 3” consist of...

· A Plan! A simple 20-minute daily Bible reading plan. Click here to print out the daily reading plan.
· A Blog! An internet Blog to post your observations and read what God is doing in the hearts of others.
· A Group! A new Wednesday night companion Bible study group.
· Growth! An opportunity to develop new life-giving habits in your spiritual growth.

This is a wonderful opportunity to harness the power of good planning, group interaction and personal accountability in bringing life-giving habits to your spiritual growth. It all starts January 6, 2010 at Aurora First.
.

How do I participate?

We will be reading 3 chapters a day for 12 weeks individually. We will then share what God has been speaking to us on the http://www.powerofthree.org/ website.

· Read: Use the planned schedule to read three chapters of the Bible. Click here to print the plan.
· Underline: As you read underline verses that speak to you.
· Isolate: Isolate one part that you underlined and make that your verse for the day.
· Journal: Use a notebook and write a paragraph about what that verse speaks to you and what you can do as a result of its reflection.
· Share: Join others and post your thoughts about what that verse means to you on http://www.powerofthree.org/.
· Attend: Attend the companion small group meeting each Wednesday night at the Alameda campus from 7:00 – 8:15pm
.

New Companion Small Group!

The Power of 3 is now offering a small group companion class each Wednesday at the Alameda Campus. This “group huddle” offers:

• Casual atmosphere with coffee and refreshments.
• Group interaction and an opportunity to share and grow from what others have learned through the reading plan that week.
• In-depth teaching from Pastor Roncone on one of the passages contained in that week’s reading plan.

This is a wonderful opportunity to harness the power of good planning, group interaction and personal accountability in bringing life-giving habits to your spiritual growth. It all starts January 6, 2010 at Aurora First.
