Love the imagery that Paul gives us in Ephesians 2 as it relates to the community of faith. He tells us that Christ’s death has made us
1. Fellow citizens speaking of our obligation to each other and community. 2. Members of God’s household speaking of our acceptance of each other as extended family. 3. A temple under construction that is becoming a “dwelling in which God lives by His Spirit” (Eph. 2:22).
These analogies speak so much to God’s intention that the church be united together, committed to community and inviting as dwelling place for God’s Spirit.
The Power of 3 is now offering a small group companion class each Wednesday at the Alameda Campus. This “group huddle” offers: · Casual atmosphere with coffee and refreshments. · Group interaction and an opportunity to share and grow from what others have learned through the reading plan that week. · In-depth teaching from Pastor Roncone on one of the passages contained in that week’s reading plan.
This is a wonderful opportunity to harness the power of good planning, group interaction and personal accountability in bringing life-giving habits to your spiritual growth. It all starts January 6, 2010 at 7:00 pm at Aurora First.

For by grace are you saved through faith: and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God. It's that simple. PTL!
