Midweek Small Group
The Power of 3 is now offering a small group companion class each Wednesday at the Alameda Campus. This “group huddle” offers:
· Casual atmosphere with coffee and refreshments.
· Group interaction and an opportunity to share and grow from what others have learned through the reading plan that week.
· In-depth teaching from Pastor Roncone on one of the passages contained in that week’s reading plan.
This is a wonderful opportunity to harness the power of good planning, group interaction and personal accountability in bringing life-giving habits to your spiritual growth. It all starts January 6, 2010 at 7:00 pm at Aurora First.

There's a lot of topics in these 3 chapters, with several themes. Perhaps 3(19) would be the anchor verse for me. If we really "know" the love of Christ and are filled with the fullness of God (wow), doing and understanding many of the other verses will become much more possible.
There is just so much in Ephesians 4:25-32 about spirit honoring speech. Went back in my old journals and found that this same passage has stimulated so many different thoughts and observations each time I read it. What seems striking is the imagery that Paul uses when talking about the cause of dishonorable speech. The cause is..
1. Old self lingering
2. footholds we provide for the Devil
3. insensitivity to the Spirit
4. lacking appreciation of grace
Convicting verse for anyone serous about being “spirit driven”.
