Col. 1:16. Christ himself is the Creator who made everything in heavan and earth.
Having worked with lots of technology in my career I would sometimes remind myself that Christ understands even the most complex systems and its problems to include the software, electronics and the math behind it as God's creation, man creates even if they don't know it.
Paul speaks to the Philippians about their missionary support of his ministry and gives some encouraging thoughts. What we are doing…
14Yet it was good of you to share in my troubles. 15Moreover, as you Philippians know, in the early days of your acquaintance with the gospel, when I set out from Macedonia, not one church shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving, except you only; 16for even when I was in Thessalonica, you sent me aid again and again when I was in need. 17Not that I am looking for a gift, but I am looking for what may be credited to your account. 18I have received full payment and even more; I am amply supplied, now that I have received from Epaphroditus the gifts you sent. They are a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God. 19And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:14-19)
1. We’re sharing a journey. “it was good of you to share” (vs 14), “not one church shared with me …except you” (vs 15). Shared in my troubles.
2. We are investing in something significant. “I am looking for what may be credited to your account” (vs 18). Investing in eternity, in our own benefit.
3. We are meeting needs. “you sent me aid again and again when I was in need” (vs 16). “I am ambly supplied” (vs18)
4. We’re encouraging warriors: “lightening their load and “sharing in their troubles”.
5. We are advancing the kingdom: “when I set out from Macedonia” vs 14. this was an apostolic advancement to an area the gospel had not been preached. New churches resulted and the gospel ended up going to Europe. The phrase “again and again” in reference to support shows that the gospel kept advancing.
6. We are pleasing God: “they are a gragrant offering acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God” (vs 18)
7. We are acting in faith. That God will meet our needs (vs 19). That God’s riches exhaust our own and that God is faithful to us when we live out kingdom priorities.
“All over the world this gospel is bearing fruit and growing.” Colossians 1:6

But algebra cannot be from God. It is a sin.
