The book of third John stood out to me today. With just 14 verses there is some great truth. Two men are mentioned in this short book. Gaius a true Christian brother and Diotrephes a church leader hindering the cause of Christ. What type of Christian am I and will I remain to be. A Gaius, helping the kingdom, or a Diotrephes, hindering the cause. Lord, help me be more like Gaius.
The Power of 3 is now offering a small group companion class each Wednesday at the Alameda Campus. This “group huddle” offers: · Casual atmosphere with coffee and refreshments. · Group interaction and an opportunity to share and grow from what others have learned through the reading plan that week. · In-depth teaching from Pastor Roncone on one of the passages contained in that week’s reading plan.
This is a wonderful opportunity to harness the power of good planning, group interaction and personal accountability in bringing life-giving habits to your spiritual growth. It all starts January 6, 2010 at 7:00 pm at Aurora First.
